I am very happy to highly recommend Gabriella Jones and Prime Time Equine. Gabriella is excellent with her horses and is very professional in all aspects of horse care and training. The facility is great for long term boarding, jumping schooling cross country as well as in the ring. Trail riding is fabulous as the farm has acres and acres of land with beautiful views and interesting paths. The fields are lush with grass so your horse will never be without and the horses are happy and healthy. Gabriella also maintains a happy barn client atmosphere - no drama. My horse and I were there for a year until he was given to a young rider to ride who went to the Charlottesville area. Thank you Gabriella for a super experience!

River plays all night, grazing with her girlfriends and then can sleep her day away in her comfortable stall. Truly living her best equine life. Conveniently located, I can check on her every day – whether grooming her in the hot/cold wash station, lounging with her in her stall, taking a lesson with a top-notch instructor, or exploring the picturesque trails to a tranquil stream where River can splash away. Gabriella is amazing with care, River is well fed and watered (and when its looking like its a little too well) Gabriella is on top of adjusting the diet or grazing pastures to keep her in prime condition. Gabriella has set an atmosphere of respect and love that has spread beyond the equine kind. All the people (boarders, staff and equine professionals) are smart, caring and generous. When I need to be away, I can breathe easy, knowing River is receiving top-notch care. Everyone is helpful and kind to this adult amateur horsewomam and I am so grateful to be part of this drama free family! Thank you Gabriella and everyone at PTE!

My friend and prominent Kentucky equine veterinarian gave me this advice after I told her how impressed I was visiting a barn with cobblestone aisle ways and a pedestal sink in the tack room bathroom. She said, “that’s not a horse barn”. As the former owner/operator of 2 successful competition “horse barns” in Cincinnati and Chagrin Falls, OH, and a former District Commissioner of 2 United States Pony Club Chapters, I sought a “horse barn” when I relocated to Lexington, VA. A horse barn includes personnel with horse management skills in the extreme, constant communications with clients, and a focus on financial responsibility. I have 2 horses who can’t thrive if simply thrown out to pasture. My mares have served me well and I’m delighted to say that they’ve not only thrived, but improved under the care of Gabriella Jones. There has never been a day when my confidence in Gabriella has waned and I wish to publicly thank her for providing a Horse Barn!

I highly recommend Prime Time Equine with Gabriella at Sunrise Stables. I've had multiple positive experiences at her facility over the past few years. I boarded my mare there for a couple of months before bringing her home, which allowed me to get to know her better with additional help from Gabriella and the trainer who comes to Prime Time, Elizabeth Barker. I've also attended clinics and enjoyed riding on the trails there. The facilities are excellent, offering miles of well-maintained trails, a spacious arena with good footing, cross-country courses, and a jump field. Everything is kept in great condition, with frequent improvements being made. The barns offer various stall options, a hot/cold water wash stall, and tack rooms. It's a safe and highly professional environment. There are multiple pasture options for different horse needs - skinny/fat/small herd/etc.
